After sanding to bare metal in the "common" rust areas has anyone painted a bit of por 15 before priming? Does it cause any problems. I know that the company says you can prime right over it but I was curious what results any of you may have had.
Thanks

you can do it if you use their "tie coat primer" keep the areas small and you will be fine.

If you use normal primer will it not stick even after roughing up the por 15? I was planning on using the por 15 primer but I was just curious.
Thanks for the reply.

After you apply the Por wait for about 3 hrs(depending on temp) when it is still tacky with slight finger drag you can dust it with primer(very lightly)then after it has fully cured prime
and paint.
