Hello im new to this section. My name is Blake, I am 17 and have aquired a 64 malibu all original with 46k orig miles at the time for $4,000. It is a daily driver for me and i couldnt be more in love with my car. So i am new to the car shows and cruising. I reside in bonney lake wa, anyone close to me. I plan on completely comstomizing this car to be fast and luxuriess. Some day it will be the feature article in chevy high performance. But right now im doing a little bit at a time so i dont kill my bank and can keep it a daily driver.

Welcome, Bonney Lake, where is that? I'm thinking you're down by Tacoma, if so, you need to meet RedRum.

Thanks for the car compliments. Bonney lake is next to sumner which is next to puyallup and that is next to tacoma. Ohh yea so funny story. Idk about you guys but i dont see many fixed up 64 or 65 chevelles. I havent seen a single 64 or 65 in this state so far. Well this weekend i was at this daffidil coronation thing and all these schools have a princess and escort. Well i was the escort for my schools princess. We all got together friday morning at 8 and had practice for the ceremoney. When it is over i see an orange malibu driving out the parking lot. I thought someone was trying to steal my car so i chased after it. When i got to the car i realized it was a 65 and one of the other escorts has one as a daily driver as well. IT is the same exact color and everything. Pretty weird huh. well im off to go do my first oil change on my car. Dad did the last one. :D

Too funny! At least you didn't catch him and drag him out of "your" car before you realized it LOL

Yea thats a good things for sure, cause he was sporting a 396 under the hood. The car looked and sounded like it had $10000 in it. Im wondering if mabye his dad gave him the car? I would like that but have more enjoyment in doing it myself

I have wanted a '65 for years and have never came across the right one at the right time. I have one friend that drag races a '65 at Bremerton and another that races hydroplanes with me that has a '64 convertable that needs a resto. I have seen several '64 and '65's in this area, but have not met any of them. There is a young guy in the Bothell area with an awesome '65 that looks all original and a real nice car, he drives through the saturday night cruise in Clearview some times, but never stops? Your car looks like it's real solid and has tons of potential, I like how it looks now.

Greetings,

Saw your pics, nice ride. My Pal Rick in Montana has his 64 SS bodywork and paint being completed while he's in Iraq for 6 months. He's already built the high-speed 470 horse SBC.
PM me and I'll get you guys in touch.

I'm in Lakewood, work at Fort Lewis, retired Army. Car info below.

Welcome! There are quite a few 64/65's running around this area, just not too many still pulling daily driver duty though. There is a Yellow 65 that has been doing the show circut around here for years that gives "polished" a new definition. I believe the couple that owns it lives down in your neck of the woods... they also have a sweet Green 67 chevelle.

yeah, thats like 2 tanks of gas south...

LOL! I think I'm going to start referring to distances the same way!
