On my 69 Chevelle, previous owner painted the entire brake booster resorvior and all. It's not bad, brakes are good but I want the natural look. If I replaced the unit as a whole, how hard is it ?
Drain the resorvior, unbolt, bolt in new ? Would the system have to be bled.

Easy fix, but you will need to bench bleed the master before you put it on, then bleed the whole system starting with the wheel furthest from the master.

Time consuming, but easy job, as long as you don't run into any other problems (stripped bleeders, etc.)
