I am installing a new SS hood on my 72 Malibu. I have purchased new hood hinges and new hood springs as well. My questions is what is the best way to install the new springs? Is there a special tool or do I need a gorilla to install them? Thanks for your help. As soon as the hood is on and aligned it is headed off to paint. I am going for canary yellow with black stripes. Thanks again.

I just found the post from protouring72. Sorry for the double-post. By the way, protouring72 that is one nice ride, I am getting my 72 painted the same. It looks great.
