Realize I should probably just call Eastwood but will post anyway. I bought all the paint necessary to do the engine compartment on my car(underhood black, orange for the block, spray gray for hood hinges, silver for distributor, etc...). Was hoping to pull motor for rebuild this winter and paint everything then but finances won't allow until maybe next year. Will the paint be OK if stored for a year at a constant temp.? they're all aerosol cans.
thanks,

You'll probably be okay, but don't store it in freezing temperatures. But the only way to find out for sure is to try spraying them just before you start your project. Some aerosols will go flat over a relatively short period of time, some will last for months. You'll just have to try it and see. There really is no definitive answer to this question.

I had some Eastwods paint in spray cans, som efull, some half used and they are still good after 4 years. Never been below 60 degrees, though.

I've found the majority of Eastwood paints have tremendous shelf life, even up to a few years. The only one that may not possibly meet this standard would be the engine paint just because of its texture and thickness, can't speak from experience on that one though.

Thanks guys. I called Eastwood just for kicks and spoke to Dave there and he suggested trying to use it within one year but didn't bother asking him why. Sounds like I'll be OK if I can keep it at a constant temp. above 60 degrees. Might have to throw some of the wife's shoes out and put it in her closet!!
