I want to flush and replace the brake fluid in my `72 Elky. How much fluid do I need?

Thanks, Jerry

I would say 3 or 4 pint containers just to be safe. You probably wont need all that but it sucks if your short.

You can get away with about 2 if your carefull. If you can remove all the old fluid from the reservior by siphoning it out, leaving a smaller amount at the bottom, you can fill with new and gravity bleed until you see the new fluid running out. Since brake fluid is not that expensive anyways, I would grab about 4 pints to be safe. They are commonly sold by the pint.
