I have purchased a set of goodmark repro quarter panels for my 70 chevelle. And my question is, has any one used these goodmark quarters and how was the fit would you use them again? I read in add placed under the parts for sell, a guy selling a pair of nos quarters stated that the goodmark quarters have a major stamping flaw and need major metal reworking in order to get the quaters to fit. Is this true or just some guy bad mouthing the goodmark quarters in order to sell his nos panels? Anyone out there know more about this, please let me know it would be much appreciated. Thanks

The goodmark 1/4's I bought seem too fit and look excellent.. I haven't lined everything up but a few remarks have been stated about how good they look and how well the body lines and edges are...

Thanks for the information about the quarters, as they seem very well manufactured. I have installed them and havent alinged them yet due to the fact I am replacing the trunk and inner and outer wheelhouses. Had to ask the question when you read that there is a stamping flaw, but away thanks for the info. And to 70isfine I am the one who bought that 560 nos quarter on ebay and I too thought that was dirt cheap, so if any one wants a nos left quarter I got one. Thanks again and I appreciate it.

Are you sure its NOS?I'm kind of suspicous now with all the repro stuff around.I guess someone could make up some labels with the original part # and pass off repro as NOS for a big profit, huh?

Fake vin tags and engine restamping have been around for awhile as sure as passing off repro parts as genuine gm. It would not be hard to reproduce fake stickers and put them on repro's. I have noticed that people are passing off new gm parts for nos parts and making a killing at it. Not just on ebay but at swap meets, and people have to beware of this, and a lot of people dont have a clue what they are really buying they dont educate themselves on the parts they need and they get burnt... me included! Its sad to know that some people out there dont give a cramp about the hobbiest, and sometimes we have to trust one another. All I know is that 560 is cheap and man do I have my fingers crossed. But anyway thanks to those you answered my question
