Hey Guys I have a question. I have a 66 chevelle with a 454 and big block springs in the front. It sits a little high in the front (1" or 2"). The problem is when I turn to the left or right the tires suck in on the top. Would ball joint spacers help with this? Or is it a bigger problem? Also has any one ever run ball joint spacers? I dig the idea of the rise of the front end. Also where could I get them?
Thanks for all your help, Ray

Upper ball joint spacers do not affect ride height. People at drag races used them in the past. It allows the front of the car to lift higher in a launch before hitting the bump stop. This transferred more weight to the rear wheels. I have seen someone making them and listing them on e-bay.:waving:

I just wondered if they would help with the issue of the tires going in on the top when I turn to the left or right. It already sits up in the front.

Generally lots of + caster will effect camber when you turn. Any idea what your alignment specs are? Ball joint spacers can do wacky things to the front end geometry, beware unless you know what you`re getting into. Mark SC&C

no I have no idea what they are. Is there any way to check caster for myself?
