Would most of you agree that GoodMark is the next best manufacturer of 70-72 full size rear quarter panels, the best being NOS GM pieces? Looks like the '71 is gonna need them after all!

I am putting on a set now, they fit great. You do need to pull them out of the box when you get them, I had one side with a bad stamping, was no problem to exchange.

Gregg,
Done a pair on my 70 loved them. I did find a few spots that needed a little touch up. Both sides on the very top of door jam they didnt fit just right(tightened the door gap) All it took was some small taps with a hammer and dolly to reshape the jam with some slight mud. One side down where it weld to the trunk ext the bend in the corner wasnt right. I just keep fitting my ext and reshaping with hammer and dolly til it fit.
I have about 30 mins on each door jam and maybe an hour on the bottom where it meet the ext, so its like it was a major overhaul.
I also have a pair of NOS quarters that I compared with. Compared metal thickness and fit. The metal on the goodmarks were just slighty lighter like one guage lighter. The fit was also the same on both the NOS and goodmarks. GAps and lines all matched. It was hard pressed to tell the diff.
Plus on ANY panel whether its NOS, used or aftermarket it will need some type of reworking to get the right fit on your car...PERIOD. The cars and parts were made with tolernces and no two cars are the same. And this holds true today. If you want I have tons of pics on those quarters, would be more then happy to send to you, there are some on the link...Eric
