13K buy it now sure does seem a tad low to me. If its really what it says it is, thats a great deal for someone.
It isn't that good of a deal IMO due to all the rust in the car. Being an east coast ride it is over-priced. Lots of body panel replacement in theat elkie's future.....

For an El Camino in that condition it seems high to me.

Looks like an easy body resto to me.
I was thinking 9-10K for it as is..maybe 11K tops

As an El Camino owner, I know they arent worth as much as Chevelles. I think that is way overpriced (for the market), which makes me sad... I personally think they should be worth much more.

Intresting. Actually, these responses give me a little hope then. Been looking to replace my stolen 72 EC for a while now.
I guess I went off the fact that its an SS coded paint color and around this part of the country, I have seen a lot worse get restored. Figured it was a resonable price. It does make sense though. I watched to other matching 70SS 396 cars go to almost 9k. One didnt sell and the other sold for 7K.
Im not really sure how he got the 1 of 105 built number from.
I see its gone to 10,000 already.
