Good looking car. I'd say 15-16 grand is what it will bring. I may be way off but, Thats just my guess...

Looks like it brought 13100 and didn't meet the reserve.

I'd say that 13100 is a BARGAIN for an SS clone in this condition (as best as I can tell in the photos). 16+ would be my estimate.

I think it was worth 13K, not a ton more though

What does it do to a car set up like this but has all the big block components a 4 speed and painted a better selling color than green.

Depends on what you can get the parts for

I just got an email back from the seller. They want $21,000 for it.

Gives me new hope in the event I'll ever have to sell mine.

I think $21,000 is very fair. It may seem like a lot of money, but if we were to buy a descent one and do all that work to it, you wouldn't end up too far from there. It takes a lot of money to fix these cars, and they're worth it.

I was more the less kidding, but seeing his is a 10 bolt 350 car, mines a 12 bolt 402 big block car.....and it's not a clone car either. :p

We were talking the other day and kind of realized something. Maybe everybody else already did and I'm just slow but, when we look at the cars and the prices, we never take into condideration the location. What I mean is, a car that is priced one way in California may have a totally different price in North Carolina. I'm thinking cost of living. Does this come into play, or has the internet changed all that?

I think location does have to do with it as a mostly rust free car I'd think would sell better in the salt belt because northern cars tend to be full of tin worms.

good point. hadn't thought about that. we were talking about a guy we know in NYC that pays 2500 a month for rent. for a one bedroom apartment. I was just thinking that 21,000 to him (and to all the other let's say, overcompensated people) just isn't the same as it is to me or maybe you. The scale is just way different. Just like the same house in my area and yours may be totally different in price.

Just my 2 cents, but for 21K I would want to see a lot more (and better) pictures. That kind of money definitely would warrant an in-person inspection, but I would not fly to NC without a good look at the frame, undercarriage, etc to know if it was worth the time.

If it was completely rust-free and the body panels, interior, etc were flawless, I could see 21K...easy to spend way more than that. It had better be flawless, though for 20+.

no way do they get 21k for it, but i guess i hope they do! if i was going to pay that much for a clone, it would need to be totally right with all the goodies. good way to estimate its value though, throw it on ebay and see where it goes, high reserve.
