I Have A 70 2dr Coupe And The Rearend Is Position Over To The Passenger Side About 3/4 To 1 Inch. Some Guy Told Me That Gm Done This On Purpose To Line Up The Pinion Gear. Anyone Ever Heard Of This And If Not Can This Be Adjusted Or Corrected?is The Rearend Able To Be Moved One Way Or The Other To Line Up Centered?it Is Causing Me Problems With My 15x10 Wheels. Thanks If You Can Help

I read this on another post.... measure from the outside of the frame to the backing plate on each side to see if the rear end is out or the body is out.... might be interesting.

Another Chevelle suggestion was that the body was shifted to one side or another..... I guess that is where I would start....
