I'm missing two instrument cluster light bulb sockets on my '70 SS dash with warning lights. Everything that I read says that my dash bulbs should be a #194 bulb with a wedge base. However, all of the lamp sockets in my cluster take a #1895 bayonet bulb. I've been through all of my catalogs looking for two sockets to match what I have with no luck. Everyone carries the wedge base style but even at that, they doesn't seem to be sockets listed for '70.
The range is usually '72-'82. Danchuk lists a socket for '70 but it's for the sweep dash with a 1/2" diameter hole. I need a socket for the 5/8". I've also tried the local automotive stores like NAPA, Pep Boys, etc. with no luck. I'd use a wedge style socket if I have to, but there's still the issue of what will fit my cluster.
Who can tell me where I can get the right sockets?

I have found the sockets at both NAPA and Autozone ( in the help section). Take a look at the NAPA part number LS 6501 as it is a 5/8 diameter that fits my '72 sweep dash--maybe that will work. The sockets cost about $4 each, which seems like a lot for 2 grams of plastic.
