Okay, getting ready to buy some new steering linkage parts, but which brands should I look at/for, or what on-line sources?

I am thinking Moog... I have heard Napa mentioned...

What about the parts PST sells? Or Ground Up?

Looking for Centerlink, idler arm and all 4 tie-rods... the other parts will be upgraded aftermarket pieces...

Thanks...

I'm a big fan of NAPA's premium line from DANA/Spicer  Moog would be next best after that.

I second that, TRW/Federal Mogul is also a good product.

I used TRW on my driver Malibu. Advance Auto Parts (check out their website) has about 3 different brands available, incl Moog and TRW. TRW was much less expensive than Moog.

Moog and TRW are made by the same folks- Federal Mogul- but i don't know if they are the same parts.

Dana/Spicer!
If you ever saw a cutaway of their ball joint and compare it to a Moog you'd know why. :(
I'll try to post a pic someday of the cutaways our local Dana rep has.
In fact, I've got her to do a seminar at the ACES Peach State show in May.

I have used and sold Moog for over 20 years. I've sold other brands and they alway's come back worn out in less than a year. I alway's try and sell Moog. Best suspention part on the market.

Best suspention part on the market.3rd best maybe, after Howe Precision and DANA/Spicer

Moog will be likely the easiest ones to get. May have to special order the Napa premium ones. Nothing wrong with that though. I have had a Moog center link on my 66SS since 98 and not a problem with any looseness at all so far.
