My wifes uncle is putting the newer steering gear box in a 69 camaro & as you may or may not know they have a rather long hose. He wants to use the original hose with the newer o-ring box.
I thought you could get them at NAPA but I would like some part numbers if possible because sometimes they look at you like you are nuts if you ask for anything out of the ordinary.
I know you can probably get them on-line but we have a local NAPA so that would be preferable.
Thx.

Do a search on jeep grand cherokee steering box and the info is there. I don`t think there are fittings for that. The info tells where to order the inserts you need.

Here is a link to the company that sells inserts to convert your metric o-ring
port(s) in the gear to accept the 45 degree flare fitting on your hose(s). He also sells a flexible coupling but I am sure that you can purchase the inserts separately. I have not read any postings that have indicated a problem with the Lee inserts.

Man, I could have sworn that Napa could get these adapters? Anyone know if that is the case?

The inserts from Lee are $4 each and could be mailed in a std envelope. Just call them and order some to be delivered to your mailbox. Not worth searching all over for.

You got a part # by chance?
LK
No, I don't know that they have a part #. Just tell them what box it's for. They come in labelled bags for "Pressure" and "Return". It's important to not mix them up. They're easy to install.

I have done a number of jeep boxes and hydroboosts and I use Allstar adapters, I get them from coleman racing.
ALL48210 is #6 male to 16mm fitting with O ring
ALL48212 is #6 male to 18mm fitting with O ring
I then use russel fittings and stainless line to go to the flare on the #6 end.
The 18 mm is the inlet and the 16 the outlet.
