how hard would it be to do my own disc brake conversion. i've never done it before so i;m wondering what i'm going to be getting my self into. Thanks

It is not hard at all. The disk install was so easy. The hardest part for me was that I bent my own lines and the proportioning valve gave me a bit of trouble. Just get a complete kit, it comes with all the hardware. If you are mechanically inclined, it is a simple job. PM me if you have any questions.

Got mine from Wilwood. Fronts & rears. It was an easy install taking about 4 to 6 hours to do a full install ( M/C & booster, disc F&R, Prop valve & all new lines ) If you don't do new lines make sure to flush the old ones out real good. On a scale from 1 to 10 & 10 being the hardest I'd give it a - :thumbsup: :thumbsup: :thumbsup:

The latest conversion I did was an OEM-style kit, and IMO it was very easy. I had everything except for the brake lines done in one long afternoon. I made my own brake lines, and also replaced the rear brakes while I was at it, so it took another couple of days to complete. I would say that someone who has all the parts needed, knows what to do and works in a more organized fashion than I do can knock it out in a day or so.

It's not very difficult at all if you have a basic understanding of how brake systems work. If not: Just ask. ;)
