I sat there thinking...I have a set of doors from a Malibu. I have a 67 300 Deluxe. I know that I could put the doors on. I wonder if I can remove the posts. I know that on most cars the B pillar is structural, but it doesn't look that way here. There is sealant filler at the top and bottom of the post. If there is a filler in between the panels then at least the outer skin is not structural. If the outer skin isn't structural then whatever beam inside is pretty flimsy. That got me to thinking that the pillar is not structural and problably removable. Does anyone here know if that is the case or not. I realize that I would have to get Malibu rear windows as well, but I just can't find a sure answer to the question. I would appreciate any help here.

Thanks
Kevin

The B pillar IS structural (thats no to say you maybe couldnt do without it) Coupe rear windows wont work either. I "think" the roof is higher on a sedan also.
Maybe you should get a different car if thats what you want.

The post coupe is the lightest model at about 200 pounds less than a hard top (as I remember) that weight has to be somewhere, I would think in reinforcments of some sort.
