I need a patch panel for the bottom 6 or 7 inches of the driver's side quarter panel between the wheelwell and the back bumper...
I hate to have to think that I am going to have to buy the whole quarter patch for this one little piece....
Anyone have any suggestions???

All the manufactures that supply chevelle parts make a lower quarter panel patch its about 40 dollars and it will give you the bottom 8"'s i belive and it extends from the wheel-well back to the bumper. YOU DO NOT GET THE PART that extends behind the bumper and connects to the dropoff. You get ONLY the skin (part you see) i dont know what year you have but this is a 66 for example

THANKS!!!
I have looked at a few places online and all i can find is the 150 dollar full quarter skin..
I think this is all i need but i'm not sure...
I am a rank amateur attempting these things for the first time ever...
From the inside of the trunk you can see the ground...the outer skin is rotted off a little below the heighth of the trunk floor...
I'm not sure if there is an inner panel that i am missing or anything like that...I figured if i could get a skin on the outside and cut the edges of the trunk floor back to good metal I could make something that would fill the gap...
BTW...I have a 4-door '65 Malibu

I just finished up putting one of these patches on my 69' you can see the ground through the trunk could the dropoff panels be bad? im not really familar with the early 60's but i think there is a type of dropoff that connects the trunk pan to the quarter panel and keeps water out of the trunk. Might want to check into "drop-offs" see what you can find.
