anyone ever have trouble installing trunk weatherstripping? I put in on there but the trunk wont close, i think its getting caught closer to the rear window than the latch. Any easy fix, or can i adjust the four bolts holding the trunk lid in place? anyone know what im talking about? :eek:

I don't recall the fix, but I do recall hearing this asked before, and it being a semi common problem with that seal. Hang in there, I'm sure someone knows the answer, and try a search if you havn't already.

You might want to adjust your latch so it doesn't close the trunk all the way until the weatherstrip gets broken in.

I have heard this suggestion used for doors as well.

You might also put some kind of lubrication on the seal to keep it from sticking to the trunk. When I replace mine, it stuck pretty bad.

Try adjusting the latch.
