Here"s the story.....I stripped all the paint off of my stock a/c fan(has steel center section and aluminum blades).I went over the whole thing with a fine Roloc disc, used some rust desolver on the steel parts, sand blasted around the rivet heads, then used a spray degreaser/cleaner and scrubbed it all down and rinsed with water. When it was dry,I gave it a final wipe down with DX-330 and sprayed it with rattle can self-etch primer,3 thin coats.Came back in the garage a hour later, and about 2/3rds of the primer on the aluminum blades had blistered up.I could practically blow off the paint with my blow gun.Primer stuck to the steel hub just fine. What did I do wrong?I would like to try and repaint this today but don"t want to mess it up again.Any suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks, Don
