I'm sure they existed, but would love to restart another collection-thread of 4-door police cars. I have a scan of a brochure somewhere. That's about all I ever saw.

There is a book about Chevrolet police cars by Edwin Sanow. I think I spelled his name right. It will have everything you are looking for. 1957-1985 approx. Breakdown of equipment by year. There is a few pictures of Chevelle cars.

eBay is your only bet for this book. Set up an automatic search and wait for it to come up. They go for about $15.

Can someone get all the info they can on a 1968 Chevelle Police Car i would like to make a remake of one someday and bring it to a bunch of shows

There was a good article in one of the big 1969 car magazines on 4 door Chevy Ford Mopar shootout.
Chevy sent them a heavy dudy 4 door Malibu with 350, F41, disk brakes, rally wheels, and Goodyear WT GT tires.
I remember the article because that Chevelle looked like a hot rod 4 door police package
