I want to know what you think of the Dynamat. I did the asphalt type stuff, thinking but going to the Dynamat, if people think it's worth it.

Mine is not Dynamat, too expensive. I went with this:

RAAMmat BXT60
RAAMaudio
St Helens, OR
Web site Mass Layer Butyl
Form Roll
Surface glossy aluminum
Published Lbs ft2 0.35
Measured Lbs ft2 (with release paper) 0.40
Net Measured Lbs ft2 (w/o release paper) 0.38
Published Thickness (mils) 60
Published Foil Thickness (mils)
I paid $99 for a roll that does 62 cu ft., I have quite a bit left over

BUT, if I were you I would stick to what you have. Butyl is suppose to be the better Sound Deadner, but if you already have asphalt down I wouldn't bother changing , IMO. Check this out if you have not yet.

Bought carpet from OPGI. The one thing that bothered me about this carpet is that the front piece barely over laps the back piece at the middle. If I wasn't careful it would not overlap. No trimming on upper Pass side because it barely made it there to tuck under factory insulation. On upper driver side I had to trim a few inches but over lap at middle was very close.
I was expecting maybe 3 or 4 inches overlap but ended with not quite an inch at sides (when I say sides, only at the over lap seam.) and down to near 0 as the seam goes to the console on each side (buckets will cover that anyway)..And door seal plates and front console bracket will keep it from moving. BUT, it all ended good as you see
