I feel like one anyway,( expectant father) ,didn't want to tell you guys till I was sure, and last weekend before the deal was even closed Im cleaning the garage( much more than the normal clean up routine ) to make room , all week long I've been distracted , have been watching weather.com relentlessly hoping for nice weather at the pickup location and here at home. I know there's nothing like the feeling of bring your newly born son or daughter home for the first time .....but this is damn close!!!:yes: :D Anyway the car should be here by Tuesday, unfortunately we got 6-8" of snow yesterday with sleet and freezing rain on top of it .:( The roads are a mess , and this just after all the snow had melted and had been in 60's most of the week.

SEB: How is your car coming to you ? In closed trailer I hope. Mine came like that. I did the same thing. Cleaning this . Cleaning that. throwing away a lot of stuff to make room. Told the Wife & Daughter. That from now on. They have to park outside the garage. ( that went over big) but when that trailer pulled up. I damn near ost it. Then he started it up. holy sh** batman. it sounded sooooo gooood. That was at 10 a.m. didn't go back into the house till after 6 p.m. That was to eat dinner. So I know how your feeling. Wait till you take that 1st ride. Ohhhh man. What a feelin. And YES everyone is looking at your car.. post some pic's when you get it. As it comes out of the trailer. Stuff like that. You;ll have those forever. Not just memories but pictures. GOOD LUCK. Rick

Enclosed , are you kidding me, absolutely!!! I am as anal as watching the local radar where the car is getting picked up, seeing that it's raining there and e-mailing the seller and asking how close to the house can the trailer get:D , fortunately the carrier pushed me back a day and it's sunny and dry there today!! Now I just have to trailer it up my snowy/dirty driveway right to the garage.

I was lucked out. It was in June when mine came here. It was a beauitful morning. Sunny warm. Man the night before I went to bed early so I could get up early. I was pacing up and down the drive way. for an hr. I was the same way. Watching the wether channel. Ha ha ha brings back some good memories. The day before my wife said. You want your dinner out in the garage or you coming in to eat. Guess its a guy thing huh! HOPE you have that camera ready. The driver delivering mine called me. once a day. Told me where he was. When he got into MINNesota. called me & told me about what time he will be here. Pulled up right next to my driveway. Heart pumping like never before. ha ha ha ha

I got home last night , plowed the driveway, called the wife in the house from my cell and asked if she wanted to hang and have a beer in the truck while I plowed. She comes out ,every things nice nice , So the driveways done and I start plowing the Culdesac I live on... she says what are you doing?, I say oh just killing some more time and having a beer with you honey :D :beers: , then I start pushing all the snow right to the curb , slowly lifting the plow and pushing it as far as I can off the road , it's a big culdesac and she says why are you doing it like that, honey I have to open the road as wide as I can, she says does this have anything to do with your new girlfriend coming next week:D I looked and smiled and said well.....hopefully the car hauler can spin around right here so I don't want piles of snow cutting my chances , otherwise I'll have to meet him down the road somewhere where he can turn around and then haul the car from there on an open trailer and if it's raining or snowing and now there's all the salt & sand the roads will be a mess! :D , she then said I'm done having a beer with you, now drive me up the driveway!:D

I nearly lost it when all the after birth came out and then there is my little daughter looking like a small cheese-ball rolled in flower... I was so happy...

It was only ~2" of snow... I would get stuck in 4", as I only have about 3" of ground clearance. ;)

What the hell are you guys complaining about, ;) I just got a bad a$$ 69SS, ( NO NOT BRAD) that I had unloaded a mile from my house ...had to then put it on an open u-haul trailer, drive 5 miles an hour to keep the crap from getting all over it and then dump it right in the garage.... where it's probably going to sit for a month:mad: , but I'll get over it. :D These will have to do til it gets a wee bit nicer around here.

Ok, It's a true SS with a POP, and a build sheet that I'm not sure about, and other doc's as well , the Engine is an L34 with deck stamp indicating so, is it a legit stamp..... not 100% sure and it won't really break my heart if it's not , because the car is that nice :yes: and it's definitely an SS. It has an M21 4 speed and 4.10 posi rear , which was originally a 3.31, Power Steering and brakes. The car is pristine in and out, black interior with buckets and console. Hopefully this weekend I'll pop the hood and get some interior and engine pic's to post.
