JohnM Sep 9th, 01, 2:44 PM Have my new seals for the rear bumper. The old ones were stapled to the edge, I think. I don't care to try this, so would 3M Super Weatherstrip be sufficient? Would that last or eventually loosen up? Any other ways to secure these pieces of rubber to the edge of the frame? WayneK Sep 11th, 01, 5:41 AM John, Yes the 3M heavy duty will hold the seal. If you do not want to STAPLe it like Factory. I ASSUMe you are not building a concorse/show car ? If my ASSUMPUTIONS are correct. WHY bother, The rear seal just collects DIRT & WATER. and in in a hard if not imposible area to clean, So IMHO if it's not a BIG point car FORGET it, or GLUE it if you must.
