What color black did my 72 convertible top have from the factory?

It's pretty bad right now, and I'm going to have it sprayed before I put a new top on. I don't think gloss will look right. But flat doesn't seem right either. Satin, or semi-gloss? Painter says he'll shoot whatever I ask for...

Just walked out into the garage and checked (63,000 original 72' convertible Malibu). It looks like a semi-gloss (satin) finish to me. If you want, I'll bring home the digital camera from work and take a few shots.

Someone needs to explain to me how to post pictures, though. :rolleyes:
