ok so here is my question il looking to buy an older chevy truck 1980 to be exact im a fan of the front clip form the year 73 to 80 and not a big fan of the front clips on the trucks form 81 to 87
now i see 73-80 trucks with the 81-87 front clips on them so i guess this is now my question can you put a 73-80 front clip on to a 81-87 chevy truck

in my opinion i dont see why not if you can take an 81-87 frotn clip and put it on to a 73-80 truck why not the opposite only thing is i have never never never seen it done and i see allot of 73-80 trucks with the 81-87 frotn clips so it just makes me wonder

I have never seen anyone do that, but I bet they could fit.

PS. The welcome forum isn't for questions like that. Help us keep things organized by putting it in a better forum next time like Bench Racing etc (a good place for off-topic or non-chevelle questions) besides the other forums get way more traffic.

Also a good place to ask that question would be at www.fullsizechevy.com or www.chevytalk.com. They have good truck sections.

The only thing you need is a core support for the 73-80 .Its a simple bolt on deal.

Why not just buy a 73-80 truck?
