Anybody use this for web space? ftp://webpages.charter.net/

Been trying to logon to add some pics but all I get is searching & then it times out. Changed the password was on this phone with Charter for about 45 min. no resolve yet.

Are you trying to log onto the site with a web browser or with an FTP client? Web browsers are really second rate software for doing FTP.
If you are using an FTP client, make sure you are using the correct port, username, and password.
If it still doesn't work, try logging into another FTP server somewhere. If you can't get into just this one, you likely have a problem with the port, username, or password. If you can't get logged into any FTP server, you likely have your computer compromised by a virus or spyware.
I recently encountered exactly that situation. One computer on my network could no longer log into my FTP servers. Fdisk and a total reinstall fixed it.

You may also want to disable your firewall to see if that is blocking the FTP. I use CUTE FTP and to update my website, and I have to disable my firewall.

Definatly get a good FTP client. I prefer SmartFTP. Check your ports and toggle between active/passive mode, see if that works.
