I have a 66 Malibu 2 dr HT. I have misplaced the diagram for placement of the 5 body mounts. There are 6 locations for a convertable application (which mine is not).
Is the one not used by a HT the one close to the rear spring perch? Or is the one just in front of the rear wheels?

convertibles use both front locations behind the front fender for a total of 4 up front, normally the hardtop doesnt use the two innermost mounts closest to the engine. At least that is what I remember, its been over 10 years since I took a 66 off its frame.

Mcdonald,
I'm not back to that point yet on my project so I cant remember about the mounts in front of the rear tire but I'm possitive that the mounts by the upper rear spring perches are used. The reason I can confirm this is that both bolts broke off in that location and I can see them still sticking out waiting to be removed http://www.chevelles.com/forum/frown.gif Hope someone else can confirm the rest for you.

Thanks guys.
My car just came back from the paint shop. I am putting it back on the frame.
I will post some pics in the next day or 2.
