Are the Goodmark door shells available yet? Has anyone seen them? Their site says they should be available in may of 2003, but I can't find anything else. I'd spend 300 each for new doors as long as they fit good and line up.

Joey,
If you do get Goodmark door skins take a good look at them when you open them or have a body man look at them. Mine were both wavy right out of the box. The fit was good but man they took some work to get them straight.

I'm not talking about the door skins- according to Goodmark's website, those are already available. They have a seperate listing for "door shells" which are more expensive and I assume them to be the actual door (although you can't really tell from the picture).

There has been a lot of good reports on these for 1st gen Camaros over on the sista sight. I would think the Chevelle's will be as good but don't know anything about availability.

I just got a return email from Goodmark. They are great at answering emails promtly.
They said yes, these are the actual door assemblies and they will be available in August. They also told me that there are no plans to make these for my Nova though (darn).

Isn't Goodmark a manufacturer? I believe Goodmark actually makes their stuff, don't they?

Goodmark has some of their own dies, but they do purchase and resell other company's parts. I talked to them about fenders for my 66 and they said they used to carry them from another company. They told me they put the Goodmark name on them and resold them, but that quality had become so bad they sold out their stock and quit carrying them. The reason I called them is because I was told the fenders I bought were Goodmark and after I got them noticed how badly formed they were so I called Goodmark to complain only to be told they did not carry them any more.
