As some know I have my frame out and have sandblasted it. I was not happy with it.
There are still alot of places where it is not BARE metal. The sandblaster is a cheap one and using silica sand (wearin a reperator)
At this rate I would use 10 50lb bags and get lung disease(assuming resperator doesnt filter everything)
Ive been over the whole thing with a wire cup on a grinder.
All the flaky rust is gone it is now just smooth and discolored.
Is this good enough. I wish I could post pictures of this. This is not an SS nor will it be a show car but I do want to have it last for my son.
I am now to the point where I stare out the window movin back and forth muttering rust..gotta get rid of the rust...rust....

I really dont have the extra cash to dip it or professional blast it.

Will rust creap and rot from the inside out if coated with POR or corroless?
GOIN CRAZY Chris

You've already gone far and above what an average restorer would do. Give yourself a pat on the back. If I were at the point you are now, I would buy a gallon of Eastwood's new product, Rust Encapsulator, and spray the entire frame. I just bought some and I like it far better than Por-15. Just clean the surafce with acetone or lacquer thinner before you start.
If you're worried about the inside of the frame rails, you can make your own spray wand with a undercoat sprayer. I think JC Whitney has them for ~$30 or so. But as long as there isn't a great deal of rust on the insides, I wouldn't worry about too much.
After the Encapsulator has dried, top coat with a good coat of black urethane and call it done.

Sounds like you have done a great job so far. Many of us don't have the time or the space to tear the frame off of the body. Good work! Let's see some pics soon
