I'm trying to sell my 65 Chevelle Big Block car. Not sure what to ask for it. I've looked at ebay and racing junk and there is a huge variation on prices for these cars.
Here are the specs:1965 Chevelle 300 Deluxe Post. All metal except fiberglass hood. All glass windows/fronts roll up and down. Car is licensed and titled in Iowa. Car needs to be wet sanded, current paint was done in August 2006, but is terrible

Has original heater in car, wipers work, new ignition and wiper switch, only non-factory switch in car is for the electric fan on tranny cooler/radiator, otherwise it is factory, Car has a 8 point cage. Here is the stuff that needs to be done: Paint needs to be buffed to get rid of runs. There is also a quarter size crunch mark on the bottom passenger side rear quarter(from a screw up on a tire change), also a 3 inch long small indentation on trunk. Car comes with dynomax mufflers(they are not on the car right now), needs headliner. This car has been done right. The back half of the car was completed 2 months ago by Wes Collins-www.nebraskachassis.com and the floor/driveshaft was also done 2 months ago by CT Chassis and Engine Building. This car was built to run on the street and with the ability to be driven to drag strip and back home again. Pictures available at:

Thanks for looking at this. I want to ask a fair price for this car.

Thanks for the reply. It sounds good, I plan on running the mufflers and exhaust all the way back if I don't sell it. What's a fair price to ask?

I think what you have it listed for is fair. It may be a little on the low side though. I'd bump it up 2 or 3k. Then you will have more room to haggle.

I was looking at that and thinking I know I have seen that car advertised somewhere on the net before and cant remember (racingjunk perhaps?). All I remember is that it was priced very fairly and you dont see that much anymore these days. I see from your response above its still priced quite fairly. Thats a good deal for the amount of work done to it.

That car has got some big boys out back! Would you consider selling it as a roller?
