I see Edelbrock has a new line of fuel pumps out. They're made by Essex or SX fuel systems, which supossedly is a very popular fuel system company in the road racing community. I also see that Jeg's has their own generic billet fuel pumps out that look strikingly similiar to the Edelbrock pumps. Perhaps they are both made by SX, or the Jeg's pump is a total chinese immitation? Does anyone have any experience with any of the pumps mentioned? Thanks.

The Jegs pumps are similar to the Edelbrock but not the same. Put them side by side and you'll find the Jegs are smaller, lighter and actually flow slightly more (different porting).

There are two different Jegs versions; one with a built-in filter and one without. Both were designed in the USA and both are made in the USA. Ditto for the Jegs small regulators (one dead-head, one return style).
