I just had a 1970 396 engine rebuilt. It is 60 over and has a 629 lift cam
On break in the first 20 Min. What is a safe tempture, and if it get to hot is it ok stop to let cool

Don,check your other post in this same forum because i ans your temp question and gave you some other tips to keeping things cool for cam breakin.
