65-55555Elco May 25th, 02, 10:50 AM I have a 65 El Camino, and I'm trying to install reproduction mirrors. Does anyone know the exact location of where the mirrors fit on the door? The mirrors are round, and a have a clip that holds a bracket on, then the mirror fits over the bracket and is held on with a set screw. Can anyone give me any advice. The passenger side mirrors were dealer installed, and on my car the right side mirror is 3/8" further back (in relation to wing vent) than the driver's side mirror in order to get a full view of the mirror without interference from the wing vent post.
