just finished a new paint job on my el camino, and am wondering how the clear coat should be sanded. the V configuration as used in prier coats (block sanding) with paint sticks, or a straight line method with a foam pad or bare hand?

Use a 3M wet sanding block, straight lines 1500 grit wet, dry periodiocally, you will see when it is SMOOTH.. Rub till your arm want's to fall off http://www.chevelles.com/forum/biggrin.gif then Buff!!! Good Luck! and be war of the edges (someone says to tape em so you don't grab em) and do a search for "Sanding Clear" I'm sure this topic has been exhausted http://www.chevelles.com/forum/smile.gif
