I just purchased a new gun and was wondering if there is something I can use in it for practice to get familiar with air and spray controls with out using up good paint.

Try your local paint store and ask for mismatched paint. Heck they might just give you the paint to get rid of it.

Yea, if the paint has been sitting for a while (mis-matched), they will probably just give it to you. I know that the local jobber has a whole shelf of them. :clonk:

Also, if you need something to practice on, the body shops might give you the trashed pieces that would other wise be dumped..

Good idea... actually, I was even thinking about just solvent, but is probably not close enough in viscosity to be much good.
