I like it but only if you didn't have two stripes on it I wish you would have put the original side stripe on it and made it white instead of that one and i dont like them stripes that are on the upper body maybe if you used them and did them white that car would be beautiful with a white interior with the white side stripe down the side. remember don't crush em restore em cya

Beautiful 69! My favorite year and yours looks very clean. There seams to be a ground swell against the deck stripes, and I must admit I'm not a fan of them on the pre 70 cars. You have the right to tell us to shove it!:thumbsup:

Hey guys, don't beat me up on the deck stripes. I got the car with those on them. Also I'm not a fan of the improper side stripe. I'm not about to repaint anything just yet so you will just have to live with them. LOL I like them, makes the car look different although I think they would have looked better white. I don't take offense to any comments so keep them coming. Just wanted to show you my ride. I traded a fully restored 65 Mustang Fastback for this car. I think I did OK.

The color is Code 71 Lemans Blue. It actually looks much better in person. Color is awesome. Hi Tom,is it Tom?? LOL Yes this is the car I traded my Mustang for. Guy is a Providence K-9 cop. He was always a Mustang man so we worked out an even swap. Hope we can get together in the future.

I must admit I'm a bit of a purest these days but back in 75 I put deck stripes on my 69 L78 and everybody including myself loved them. Today, I'm sorry to say, very few of us want to stray from the factory norm.

Fred, I am on the side that LIKES the stripes. I just got a 69 SS and it's got the Black stripes down the hood and the deck lid. The deck lid ones need to be corrected but otherwise, I LOVE it! Nice trade!

Great to have someone on my side LOL.Rob awesome web site, the chassis is a work of art. This is what makes this hobby so great different points of view. Everyone around here likes the stripes, I do also. My philosphy is to have a nice car and drive it as much as possible. I use my car year round and get a lot of thumbs up and surprised looks since I drive the car through our Rhode Island winters. As long as there is no snow and salt my car is on the road. I bought it to use not keep it parked. I have enjoyed all your comments and suggestions. Thank you. Keep them coming I enjoy what you have to say.

Fred- It's an M20 that doesn't miss a beat. This thing lights 'em up at 30mph with out touching the clutch...Power is fun...:D :D

Goota love blue chevelles! Seems like you don't see a whole lot of them. I agree, I'm not a fan of the side stripes either but I do like the stipes on the hood.Lemans blue seems to be a bit more popular than the dusk blue. Good looking car.:beers:
