Is the frame from a 1971-72 caprice the same as the 68-72 Chevelle?

I looked at one the other day with a TH350 and 350 engine. The engine has edelbrock carb and intake, sounds strong and doesn't smoke. The lady wants $500.00. I just can't remember which year it was. I thought the frame would be good as a spare for a Chevelle and use the engine for a future build project.

Thanks

Hardtop, I think that the short answer is no, but do a search and I'm sure the the answer is here somewhere. You might visit your favorite Pick-a-part yard and ask the counterman, they have an exchange book at their disposal.

progress has little to do with speed, but lots to do with direction.
