This is my first restoration project. I purchased a 1970 chevelle. I am in the process of doing a frame of restoration. I have removed the front end (fenders, wheel wells, radiator, radiator support, etc). I have also removed the gas tank, bumpers (front and rear) and completely gutted the interior (except for the steering column and pedals). What must be unhooked or removed to be able to lift the body completely off the frame? I can't find anything that tells me all the things I need to take off the frame or body to seperate them. I havent done anything else than what I listed above. I have sprayed the body mounting bolts with WD-40. Any advice you vets have and can guide me with would be greatly appreciated.

You will have to disconnect the steering shaft, speedometer cable, wiring harness at firewall under the brake booster, cluth pedal rod, brake lines off master cylinder, check for body to frame ground wires, emergency brake cable. These are some of the major parts, just make sure you keep checking as you are separating the body off the frame. It is really not that hard to do take your time and everthing will work out. Remember to mark everthing as you take it apart this will make reassembly much easier.
