Okay, I know it's not a chevelle but you guys are full of ideas. I need ideas on how to make a56 4 door look really good and not like grandma drove it to church on Sundays. Hot rod and custom, all ideas are appreciated. I have looked at other sites but it seems thay all go stock. I hate stock and want a cool turn their head ride.

I'll do a search on my laptop (not currently with me) to see what I have in my collection of photos, but in the mean time have you check out www.chevytalk.com, they have a ton of forums, and one it devoted entirely to modified tri-5's.

Everyone wants a tudor, I think just having a 4 door is neat. Do it up like an old cop car ! I like to see different stuff.

You can turn one into a 2 door. You can do it. Go to the Two Lane Blacktop web page and look for a guy named SwedishBobFalfa. Have you ever watched "American Graffetti"?
He made a 4 door into a 2 door and the did it in Switzerland. Isn't it hard to fathom how hard that must have been? Go over there and look.
Have you ever watched the movie Two Lane Blacktop? Later
Take that 4-door, lower it, add some large (not too large, 16" - 18") wheels with low profile tires (not too low, 45 series), put in some impressive suspension & brake upgrades, go with a modern Corvette engine. Leave the body more or less stock but make sure the chrome is flawless. Paint can be simple but make sure it is quality, and lay it over flawless bodywork with attention to fit and alignment of panels. You can go single color or even try to follow the factory 210-style 2-tone. Inside you can go mild but update the gauges & steering wheel. The seats can stay bench but go with a simple pattern with quality upholstery. A fairly powerful stereo with CD changer & MP3 player, numerous speaker compontents (don't replace the back seat with woofers, that is overkill). The car will show an appreciation of all that is old and new without going overboard. Oh, and add a supercharger (not a 6/71 blower, something modern and totally underhood). Lastly go with a high-tech exhaust system with an X-pipe and mandrel bend tubing, terminating with interesting exhaust outlets, maybe rectangular, angle cut or perhaps even rig up through the bumper exhaust exits like an old Cadillac of the fifties. A potent but not loud rumble helps.
Please don't send me the bill.
Now, go cruising with a bunch of friends and you'll appreciate the extra doors.
