Can anyone tell me the correct color Trunk Splatter paint to use for a 72SS.? Is it the black with the white/gray splatters, the gray with the white/Black splatters or the one with the aqua splatters.

Thanks

Tom

Believe its the one with aqua but I'm not sure, someone will let you know for sure. But the thing I learned the hard way and I wanted to let you know is that the spatter paint is water soluible(sp?), and you need to put a clear coat on it. If you don't and it gets wet it runs all over. Correct is a semi-gloss clear and its kind of hard to find. Ussually find it in the hardware section believe it or not. Almost sure its the one with aqua in it because I remember thinking that was odd when I did mine. I would go out and look but I'm cleaning out the garage and I haven't even found my cars yet.

Aqua. Yes you need to spray it with clear. Places such as OPG sell the GM paint by the can. It's kind of expensive, but if you try to order if from your GM parts dept, you have to order a case!
