Mine had a vinyl top, and my body guy is skeptical at what he can do to save the metal. We're waiting to see what things look like after sandblasting.
Anybody in the Northwest have a parts car ('69 2D, Malibu, though Malibu not important) that has a good roof on it?
I missed out on one by 2 days last month, and bupkis since. I'd even travel to N CA...just keeping my options open. I'd rather pay to have it replaced with good metal, than all the expense of repair, given the choice, IMHO. Body guy agrees. Thoughts?
