I have a big big dilemma!
When it will be time for me to go the the body shop...
I don't know what color i'll paint my car!!
I was thinking Blue with white stripes 3 months ago.. then i saw a Yellow velle with black stripes (72.. like mine) and I really liked It..
Now, I still want to paint it Yellow with black stripes.. But i don't know.. Mybe something else will look better.
I want it to turn heads!
and Yellow is a real head turner...

I know what.
You guys say what color is the best.

I want stripes as well.. so name a color and color of striping.

I was thinking the tanish bronze color on the viper with the gunmetal gray stripes. Also Hugger orange (original color of the car) with maybe white stripes..or black....but I also like a mightnight blue on it... Good luck, and BTW dont paint it red, everyone has that one already....be unique.

That was my first Chevelle (and my first car) back in the 70's. The one that I have now is red but stay tuned for the "Return of the Tripple Black!"

Great idea to ask for opinions!...that's how I came up with the color for my Velle...Quite a few of the guys here suggested 2000/2001 VW Silver...just got it back and it looks great!

Another color i like is Fathom blue w/White stripes...but I guess where you live, the summers are pretty hot, so maybe go for a lighter color, like Mulsanne Blue... http://www.chevelles.com/forum/smile.gif

I would think in Israel the best color would be camouflage!

Paint it the color you want and enjoy your car. I would paint either the yellow you like or a brillant red such as viper red. true, there is alot of red chevelles but they look great in red and I can tell you from expierence if you are beside a red one in a show and all things equal the red one will win.

I'm gonna paint my Elcamino bright red with black stripes. I had a red Corvette once that was such a bright red and it attracted humming birds, I thought that was pretty cool.
Any humming birds in Israel?

I'd vote for yellow. It's different and it will look good with black stripes.

I can't remember if you've ever said what color your interior is. It would help to know that before we all start picking colors for you. If it's black, that's a bonus. There is a Daytona Yellow 69 396/375hp on Ebay if you want to see a nice example. Better hurry though, auction ends in about

I have the same problem, I posted in the paint body section and got some good suggestions. Mine is convertable though and has black top and interior so I have to find a color that would look good with the black ss stripes.

Someone has a picture of the viper red color? If I do paint it red I want it bright
