The trans cooler that I have now is mounted directly in front of the rad and the two lines go directly to it.. Should the lines run in series threw the rad for better cooling Thanks

300, The lines should go through the cooler than through the rad cooler and back to the trans. Hope this helps.

A thought.

Fluid to fluid heat transfer is much more efficient than fluid to air heat transfer, so running the trans fluid through the air cooler first isn't the way to bleed first heat off the heat properly.

I run the fluids through the radiator first to bleed and stabilize, then through the air cooler fo finish the process.

In winter, I do a controlled bypass of the air cooler, for fluid pre-heating.

Just what I do.
