need some help with how to ID an orginal GM fender. Someone has auction for pair of front fenders but how can they be identified as original GM from reproductios fenders? is there any kind of markings or numbers to show me orginal vs reproduction

Repros have a different style of nut that the inner fender bolts up too.
The repro nut has rounded off corners and allround slightly smaller in size but still use the same bolt size, just the overall size of the nut is smaller

The nuts that sevt_chevelle is referring to are permanently welded/attached to the fender.

is a repro fender. Notice the nut that is welded on? The GM has a rectangular nut without any visible welds.Maybe someone will post a pic for comparison.
