750 the smallest for your setup. Go with the double pumper or the hp series if you can afford it. I also hear good things about the barry grant carbs. Do a search on carbs and read up.

those are big heads for a 383, be sure to have the right valve springs installed correctly for the cam. What's with that cam anyway? is it 255/265@.050 lift? if so, why only 504 lift? if it's advertised duration it's way too small, it will never let your engine get up to an RPM suitable for those heads.

THE 255/265 IS @ .050. WITH THAT IN MIND WILL IT BE ENOUGH ? WHAT WOULD YOU SUGGEST FOR HOT STREET, I ASKED THE TECH AT DOUG HERBERT AND THIS WAS HIS SUGGESTION, #CCR4, WHAT'S THE BIGGEST SIZE`INTAKE RUNNERS DO YOU THINK I SHOULD USE ? THANKS

383!!

11 to 11+ to 1 CR!!

Big heads!!

3.73's....

Yes, the cam's a schosh big but should run strong once up going, imho!!!

Probably need more converter tho, but I'm not an auto tranny guy so can't help there...

I don`t think that cam is too big for a 11:1 383 but the lift is pretty low for the duration. With your heads flowing as good as they do, I would run 1.6 rockers to get the lift up or change cams. My buddy ran a similar motor and ran a Crower 00351 cam. It was something like 254/263@.050 .525/.543 106 LSA. Ran really good in a big old 62 chevy truck.
