Does anyone have any experience with the new steel cowl induction scoops I have seen advertised? I keep hearing bad things about fiberglass hoods.

You're in Yuma ! Phil and I just drove my (Phil's now) 64SS out there to Lakeside...

The steel hood made by Goodmark are as good if not better than the originals sold by the General. I have seen the Harwoods installed and they are top notch. There are a few other's out there but stick to a good name brand and you'll be happy.

Hope it Helps

Steve, you should try midnight at the oasis. Its a lot of fun (its a car show with alot of very nice cars and people).
Goodmark Doesnt make a hood for the 66 chevelle. The only thing I can find in steel is a scoop. I cant run the stock hood because of clearance. Maybe I will switch to a tunnel ram setup and just cut a big hole. Thanks for your reply.
