Eric,
when I talk to John today at adjustflexsand.com he said the sanders worked great for wet sanding and that on all his show cars he wet sands the clear with 800 and then 1500 befor going to the buffer. What do you use when you wet block K-36/38?
Also do you just use one of those interfacing pads ie.. 2x4in. rubber pad with all the holes in it when you color sand your clear? That's all I have been using.

Thanks as always, Zach

PS John recomended slicing the 15" sander every 1.5 inches to mimic has super flex sander or whatever it is called on his site, for doing dad's super round fenders.

Zach, when I talked to John in person this last July at the car craft summer nats he told me NOT to use them wet. Maybe he has a new foam out that can handle the water.
If he says you can then do it.

The super flex sander he has is pretty nice. In fact he had a booth setup at the show with some 47-53 rear fenders to sand on. The super flex sander really fit those fenders great.
I really dont get anything with that kinda of curve to warrent slicing mine up, but I suppose when I do get to that 49 Ill cut it up.

For wet Ive been using rubber blocks in the 5, 9in lengths with some other random stuff.

Eric, I forgot graemlins/clonk.gif

John said they had been putting a little bit more of a pad on the sanders for wet sanding, (he recomended a few strips of duct tape), to provided the proper give, let me know if you try it. smile.gif
