I bought one. The demo at the car shows I went to blew me away.

HOWEVER, I found out the hard way, those dudes doing the demos are working under optimum conditions, and are VERY experienced. I can only do some of what these things are supposed to be able to do so far.

I know it can be done as I seen it with my own eyes. But if I could do it as well as them guys I'd throw my MIG welder away.

They even supply a tape to watch on how to do this stuff ....but didn't help. I still can't most of it, or do it well.

One of the things I really like is you can get mini tanks for this torch, and make yourself a stand and take it ANYWHERE. Including junk yards, friends houses, etc. This thing can cut like nobody's business as well as weld.

For now, until I get better with it, I am relying on my MIG. Supposed to be able to weld thin sheet metal without warping...and I seen it done. Sure would be nice when replacing my quarters.
