: What's Chevellabration really like?
Jimmy P Mar 5th, 07, 5:16 PM I'm starting to plan my summer and feel like trying something different. I've done the Hot Rod Power Tour a few times, AmeriCruise and a lot of national events, but never Chevellabration. Nothing against ACES or you guys, it just always worked out that my car buddys were doing other events and only one of my best friends actually has a Chevelle.
Since I've finally (once again) have a Chevelle (Ok, El camino) I'm thinking of going this year. I've never spoken to anyone in person that has gone. I've read a lot on here, but what happens in respect to the official events, locations, hotel availibility, etc.?

ssal396 Mar 5th, 07, 7:46 PM I went in 05 and had a BLAST... For me it's more about the people then the show.. Hanging at the hotel and knocking down a few :beers: with some TC buds was FANTASTIC... The show & events were just gravy :D

Not True Jimmy, I've gone 6 times so far and plan to go again this June. Chuck Nixon will probably be going also. Come on and convoy up with us and the I40 gang.

Yeah Bob, you're right. But that was a while ago and my memory is, well, I can't remember right now......
I'll try and get my buddy Dennis to go with his LS-5 70. Even if I have to meet up along the way with you city slickers, it's sounding like a good trip!
Let's see....1500 miles........427 with dual quads......3.73 gears......I better start saving RIGHT NOW!

Bah....Im in Cali and have gone twice. And when I eventually get my car done I am going to drive it, roll in with Cali plates and NO truck or trailer (thats a dream of mine) wearing big sunglasses, a poker visor and a stogie on a long filter (ala Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas style)....maybe a recorder duct taped to my chest with the mic taped to my face as well.
I have a sister I did not know of or meet until I was 28 years old. She lives in PA and to this day I havent been out to see her. Its too damn far. BUT - for CB, no worries, im there. :D ;)
